Hi all,

Can someone please advise the rules and regs regarding the position of a boiler flue relative to external doors and opening windows.

If possible I want to position a boiler in the kitchen but the flue would exit between the back door and the window.

Many thanks.

Assuming it is a fan flue boiler you need 300mm in any direction between flue and any opening or air vent/extractor in the wall

yes. what kind of boiler are you installing....make and model?

also dont forget you have to worry about your property boundary

as far as I have read it has to be 1 1.5 1.2 or 2 meters from it depending what you read

:)

but as dave the rave says 300mm away from an openable window of a door
