Boiler help Vaillant Ecotec 937

Hello all, first time poster here.

I have recently had a vaillant 937 fitted and a 350F vaillant controller. Outside of the timed heating and hot water, the boiler is constantly running. Is this because the its trying to get to the desired temperature on the thermostat?

The 350F has a set back temperature which the system maintains when outside the timed periods check what that is set to, it is normally set around 5c lower than your timed heating temperature.
