Boiler pipes possibly leaking

My boiler is a glow worm flexicom 30cx. Where the pipes enter the boiler at the bottom it looks like at some point the pipes were leaking, please see image attached. Our gas service engineer said they have probably sealed themselves, what do the experts on here think.

No dampness i could feel, ran the heating for 10 minutes and couldn't see any moisture coming from pipes. Thanks Rob.
 
I would have thought it’s likely (if it’s going to leak) that it would leak when cold, not when heating has been used. It does however look to have sealed itself.
