Boiler problem

Hi

I have a Vokera Linea 24 and the pressure guage needs resetting quite often.

I've been told I need a new boiler. That can't be right.

The boiler is about 10 years old.

Would appreciate advice.

Do you mean the gauge is showing zero and you need to raise the pressure? If so, the User Manual tells you how to do this. If you haven't got a manual, it section 5.2 Here

Low pressure is no reason for changing the boiler. Who told you this - a mate or someone after a job?

I should have said that I understood you should only have to repressure the system once in a while.

Could it be a pressure valve or something?

Have your boiler serviced, you could have a look here to give you some idea what could be part of the problem.
