boiler recomendation

Hi just bought a nursing home been informed that the three boilers doing water and heating are to old after yearly gas test been quoted for three replacement boilers 28k there are 38 rads and 42 hot taps in building can anyone recomend any boilers to cope with such demand the engineer has sugested floor standing worcester 42cdi any sugestions would be greatfull
brian not a lot info i know but just want to know what to say to the other engineers that are coming to give quotes

Are you sure they didn't say "unsafe"? A worcester 42CDi won't do all that lot.....you will need a couple of decent sized ones cascaded.
 
you need someone to have a good look at it. you are only going to get very general advice for here.

the new set up will have to look at a whole host of stuff that just cant be explained on a forum.

but to give you an idea we have just finished a small care home heating system, that was about 20 rads with a 40kw boiler

As mehran says, you may be best off getting a couple of decent independents in to have a look. Commercial ones I'd say. If it's a long 35mm gas pipe, or bigger than a u16 meter, domestic blokes can't touch it anyway. Was your original engineer commercial?
Again, as mehran says, too many things to discuss on a forum. If they want the work, they should be able to provide a report on what needs doing, why and the costs.
