Boiler won't repressurise

As above, black tap at 90 degrees to the body, isolating valve screw head across the body, that's the water off, then keep bleeding one rad til pressure drops to 1 bar.

There's a lot of talk about the black taps, but they should have been left untouched as they are the boiler isolation from the rads.
If the op if you have touched then make sure thereth switched on again.
If not the rad s won't warm up as all the hot water will stay inside the boiler.

The rh black valve is for the filling loop if my eyes don't deceive me,

No it's the photo that's a bit deceptive due to the angle but actually, that's the heating return isolator.

The filing loop is slot valves both end and on the first photo the downstream side is almost hidden behind the braided hose itself.

Disagree herewith flow and return are the two left hand pipes, only one of which has a handle

No they aren't. The left pipe is the flow ,the return is on the right and both have black levers. The centre is gas line and far right prv pipe. The filling loop has a check valve on left and ball o fix on the other end. John D is correct .
