REPRESSURISING VALIANT ECO MAX BOILER

Hi

Tried to repressurise my boiler- turned the black tap on the right(there are two taps, and it just goes round(I guess the valve as a result isn't opening) The other tap is ok, but obviously no water is entering the system-Any ideas??

Can you remove the plastic piece (maybe a small screw in the centre) and turn the metal stub with some pliers?

There doesnt appear to be a screw head in the middle- just a piece of metal with the plastic handle attached-will it just pull off?......dont really want to orce it

you'll need to get it replaced ideally, or fit an external one. If its desperate in the mean time, just attach a foot pump to the expansion vessel and pump it up with the system full until the bar pressure raises on the guage enough.
