i need to take an old boiler off the wall and disconnect all the pipework from it and replace it with a new one.

Step 3: enjoy your SAFE new boiler
 
look come on this way will be cheaper. do i drain the boiler down disconnest the gas and blank it off then remove the rest of the pipework??

as u say mate this aint a job this is an adventure you call yourself corgiman so give me some of your corgi educated tips on how to remove a boiler you could give me your corgi number while your at it too

dont have a corgi number as I am an employed type chappy so dont have one

if not hope you live alone in a detached house miles from other people and buildings booooom!
 
well people ive done it! shut off the gas at the gas box,turnt off the stopcock on the f&e,stuck a bit off hosepipe on the drain off on the boiler opened up all the air pips on the radiators upstairs,drained it down,disconnected the gas,disconnected the flow and return and i got a competent niceic electrician to remove the electrics and off the boiler come. PLUMBING SUCH AN EASY GAME
 
What did you cap off the gas with and how did you test it was tight afterwards :rolleyes: :eek:
