I seem to be going through these drills i every few years and its always the switch that has become unresponsive, I've kept a few rather than chuck them but have been buying body only replacements but I think I'm going to see if I can buy a switch.

Is this the right switch and is it a trusted supplier?

I'm sure last time I looked into this the switch module was £50 or something.

Hardly worth the effort for what you save but if you strip the old one down you should find a part number or rating details on the old switch.

They have a 3 year warranty; if they break every 2 years it's Bosch's problem?

My 18v version of the same drill has been trouble free for around 10 years now; do you go for the 12 specifically for some reason? Weight? Already have batteries etc?

There are models of the 12v drills/drivers that regularly get offered for a lot less than £50 on Amazon or eBay. I would suspect that they use the same switch module.

I've found my smallest Torx bit and had a look inside and its true, its the whole switch module which is more than the cost of a new body only on FFX.

Yes I'm stuck with 12v Bosch as I have a good few of the range but mainly use the combi and mini grinder daily.
