Bosch Dishwasher Classixx Maxx SGS53C02GB/08

I have a Bosch Dishwasher Classixx Maxx SGS53C02GB/08 and it has just started a fault whereby the Active light (which shows the program is still in progress) is permanently lit, although it appears the cycle has finished and it empty of water.

I have tried resetting it, with a long push of both buttons, which clears it, however when I power cycle it again and try ans start a new program, it just comes back on and nothing happens

Any suggestions please

Once you have cancelled the previous programme do you hear the drain pump running?

Then when you start a new programme do you hear it drain and then begin to fill with water?
