Bosch dishwasher - float switch

We've a Bosch SGS6962 dishwasher that we've just pulled out of storage. All seems OK (lights, start-up noise, water inlet, water inlet filter and waste outlet), but water never enters the machine. It appears to run a cycle but never with water.

Various threads here suggest checking the float switch, but on this model there's no removable panel beneath the door - nor does there appear to be one underneath the machine itself.

Any ideas as to how I might test the float switch on this model?

If it's the float switch then the drain pump will be running continuously.
Can you confirm that this is happening?

Thanks for the reply.

There is an intermittent, low-level hum/whir which may be the drain pump, but it's difficult to tell as this model is a "Silence" low-noise model. I'd say it isn't running all the time.

If this does indicate the pump isn't running all the time, do you have an idea as to what the problem could be?
