Hi,

Went out to a toilet with a leak coming from the inlet bottom (bottom entry)

The thread does not appear to be 1/2" as every other one I have looked at, its bigger. There was a plastic reducer on it which then reduced to 1/2", this was cracked causing the leak.

Does one one know what size thread this is? It did not look like 3/4", but was definitely bigger than 1/2"

Look forward to your answers.

Cheers

Sounds like a B&Q foreign cheap import to me.

Save yourself time and hassle and replace unit with a standard one.

Yes, some of the early Roca Spanish toilets had a 3/8" tail on the inlet and it was a pain-used to use a reducer to bring it back to 1/2"....as Dave says, fit a decent one.
