boxing around boiler Flue

Hi

I have a combination boiler on the wall in my kitchen and would like to box in the flue at the top which goes out of the wall with platerboard, can I do this? it is quite simply to hide the pipe the boiler will remain untouched.

that's great, many thanks are there any minimum requirements for clearance around the pipe? thickness of plasterboard etc? thanks in advance.
