I had to remove the old boxing round the bathroom pipes to repair the toilet and most of it is rotten anyway.
I've bought some 9mm MDF and plan to cut everything to shape.
At present there are battens on the back wall to support the top panel, and battens on the floor to support the side panels.
Do I need an extra batten where the side and top MDF panels meet each other?
Also, where they join, and if they need additional spport, I don't think I can secure this batten - is that okay? It will just be a batten at the join point secred to the 2 bits of wood but not to a wall/floor anywhere like the other battens.
