Any bread knife advertised as a bread knife will cut bread, If you are just using it at home to cut your own bread and not commercialy to make sandwiches on a mass scale then a £10 knife will do the job for you.

I get this really nice sourdough. My knife cuts kerbs.
I want nice thin slices.
Knife just needs to be good at cutting bread. It doesn't have to be expensive

My electric knife cuts thin slices from uncut loaves beautifully. I would suggest one as they are multi purpose things, carving turkey's meat etc. £19.13

It is but then I don't look on it as a fashion accessory, I just get complimented on how beautiful my meats are carved and the amazing bread slices it produces.

Im into gut health. Sourdough has gut health benefits. Also the better bread for type 2 diabetes.

Good Sourdough is really good.
