we are getting our new kitchen installed in 3 weeks and part of the new kitchen is a breakfast bar which has an overhang of about 1.3m X 0.7m.
Although half of the 1.3m bit is along a wall. We thought we just needed to put a couple of "legs" in place to support it, however from investigation the legs only screw into the worktop and then sit on the floor so can easily be kicked/moved. Is this right and if so can anyone think of another way to do it? Maybe by building a bracket into the wall to support it.
The worktop will be Bushboard laminate and the floor is a Balterio laminate. I have attached a diagram, you will see the breakfast bar piece is in the top left of the diagram.
Thanks
