Now the Met have apologised Sir Lindsey for sharing the source of the tip off. They obviously did it deliberately in the first place so as to avoid blame.

It seems Sir Lindsey received the information while on a jolly to the Virgin Islands. He needs to say from who.

Strange that after all these files have been released only one person has been prosecuted and jailed.

No one else is going to be convicted for the sex stuff. No one at all. All those women, girls – children? – unavenged. No one, bar the dead man and the incarcerated woman, is ever going to get convicted, nor almost certainly ever even get charged, either here or in the US. It may even be – indeed, is likely to be – that the biggest names from whom the public would really, really like to hear more are never even questioned. They will continue to be big shots, or under the radar, or people who simply don’t fear a knock at the door, because they understand perfectly well how the system works. And they always did.

Maybe it's the 'drip drip' strategy to keep the attention away from the really big players for as long as possible, so there will probably already be a time slot planned for mandy

He did not provide any details, but the BBC understands Sir Lindsay passed on information he received in the British Virgin Islands during a visit last week that Lord Mandelson was planning to travel there.
