It's made of glass mainly.
When you install it you must wear a proper mask and disposable overall (poundland sells them.
If you don't cut it you won't really making any dust.
Get the cavity slabs, they are 400 wide so go perfectly between batons.
Cutting celotex is the same, don't breath the dust.

Do I still need that vapour barrier between the Rockwool and OSB?

Vapour barrier is up to you.
Not strictly necessary if you ask me, but if it makes you sleep better, it takes seconds to put on with a few staples.
Remember to mark the studs before covering them with the vapour barrier
