Brexit - a reality check!

Was it not left wingers that didnt want to go into the EEC in the first place
That is immaterial at this distance in time (50 years!), especially as Labour and many of the unions eventually came round to supporting the EU as it protected workers rights so well.

Yes, but I have never met one, which considering my past association with the Labour party and that some of my friends are still members may be a surprise - but then none of them are Corbynistas or international socialists. My experience of Brexiteers is exactly as stated. Almost all the ones I have met or worked with to date have been xenophobic little Englanders

Quite so

Though I see fewer Brexers in real life than on here. Where they are as you describe. And some racists.

simple you backed the losing horse yet again so stop your bottom lip trembling and accept the majority result of those voting

Simple really:
More than half the Tory party fcked up and voted for Truss.
At least they saw what a mistake they'd made and changed it, because to get to be an MP you do have to have basic intelligence.

More than half the country fcked up and voted for brexit.
Brexers do not have the intelligence of a losing Tory MP, so they still haven't realised they fcked up. Bless.

Please expand on this statement. I can't help but feel that's your denegrating term for people who don't see your vision.

Xenophobia - is the fear or hatred of anything which is perceived as being foreign or strange.

For example. Whilst i embrace and love multi cultural diversity i dont always welcome it into my village. For example i want my village shop to stay a village shop. i dont want it to become a kebab/curry/Tappas/Thai takeaway and or be accused of xenophobia by people who want one there.
Just as id like to visit a spanish village and the local restaurant remain a tapas bar not a kebab/curry/Thai restaurant.

Little Englander - also used as insult by people who have no sense of worth or pride in their country, who in effect self deprecate their ethnicity and values in the presence of people who are evidently not of indigenous appearance. Are unable to associate with belonging or values to their native country and identity.

It's a shame that Britain has been so damaged by the Brexers.
