Hi All,
I am looking a building a brick cabana (overlooking the pool that will soon be installed. This will be roughly 3metres wide, 5metres long and 2.4metres high. I have so many questions about how to build this and am still unsure on whether to do single or double brick. Hoping some experience DIYers can assist.

1. Should I do single brick (recycled brick) and use piers to strengthen the wall.
2. Double brick (recycled on the outside for aesthetics and quik brick for the inside and rendered). May provide better insulation and cavity wall for electrical etc.
3. If this is double brick does it require piers or are masonary connectors used instead?

Thanks
Thomas

We don't get many cabanas in blighty, nearest we get is bus shelters and they tend to made of glass
