In need of some help if possible, been let down last minute before we have the house decorated tomorrow and want to bridge out this old room thermostat as we now have Hive.

I'm not worried about bridging it out at the wiring centre because that is a complete mess and will be sorted out by a professional who will sort out the thermostat properly at that time also.

Just looking to bridge at thermostat so decorators can crack on as needed, do I bridge out all 3 wires (1,2&3).

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, as a temporary measure is it OK to bridge 1/3 with a terminal block and terminate 2 in another block and insulate. This will be covered by a backing plate until it can be sorted 100%.
