Briggs & Stratton 650 EXi Series Never change oil

Just read on B/S web page no need to change oil with these engines.

As I have always changed my lawn mower oil once or twice a year I find this extraordinarily never to change the oil

What are your views ??

I'm sure that they will have tested them to make sure that they don't fail before the warranty expires.

Change it! I change mine every year. The mowers I use were made in 1996 (Briggs and Stratton engine, also) and 1971 (old Qualcast engine) have had yearly changes all their lives and are still running lovely.

First read I through you meant change mower every year phew.

As you I also have changed my oil 6 /12 months.

Now looking to purchase this w/end a Hayter 48 475A.

I service my Briggs and Stratton annually before putting it away for the winter.
Change the oil every year and running fine for a 12 year old.
