Britain basking in heatwave... ???????

Same as Richardp up yer in North Devon variable cloud humid and just had a shower of rain.

Truly remarkable; had a great barby tonight & we have sat long in the garden looking at & enjoying a truly Mediterranean blue sky with not a cloud to be seen. Only real difference is that although the thermo is still reading 20, the air temperature has dropped enough to chill. Last time I remember such good weather is 2004 when we first moved in here; just hope it’s the same tomorrow.

29 Degrees no wind any no way was i doing loft work, got to do it tomorrow though

140 degrees in a loft again today. Felt cold when I went outside (31 in the shade). (In Middlesex)

Im off fishing for 2 days tomorrow and then in Spain for a few weeks. I love it!

Bit of a breeze today so garden temperature thingy only got up to 28 degrees.

Warm or hot weather is only considered 'good weather' if that is what you like.

I personally do not like working in hot weather at all. I can concentrate and work harder when temp's are cooler.

Hot weather is great if you are lounging around with a drink in your hand. 8)

Bring it on, I absolutely love it  ; I can't believe all this crap on the radio/TV about heat crisis & emergency precautions, for Christ sake it’s only 30 degrees; it’s a good few days summer that’s all. Having worked extensively in the far/middle east, the temperatures we get here & even in the med don’t bother me at all & it’s humidity that will really get to you.

Plan ahead (or make an excuse); I certainly aint working this week & I have got a drink in my hand!

29 again well that was till we stuck the heating on for a couple of hours soon went up mid 30`s.
