Britain HAS got talent

It seems such a pity that modern day "cabaret" shows spend so much time and focus on singers and dance troups.
BGT allows any act.
True, but just watching it last night, with the exception of the dog act and a short clip of some chap doing acrobatics in a big hoop, the main attention was singing and dancing. Where are the mime acts, the stunt cyclists, magicians, the oddity acts, gymnastic teams etc etc etc?

Are such acts competing? I don't know the answer. I agree to an extent... but 'mime acts'!!!! NO! Please lets not bring that tripe back.

It would be nice to see a mime act for just a minute or so even if they didn;t get through. What about impersonators?

Well I liked the zimmers :) Grace Cooke age 88 was an absolute treasure...bless her

the dog act was excellent but sadly wont go far because simon will fix a singer he can work with to win it
True - it will be a somewhat limited career, culminating no doubt in some sort of engineered guest appearance on Waterloo Road in a few years time.
