Hi folks, I had some remodeling at home and one door magnetic contact sensor got damaged and it was just removed. It was the only sensor in that zone/area. After that, I need to bypass the zone every time I need to arm the alarm system.
I don't need to replace the sensor but the wiring could be useful in the future. Is it safe to just connect the two wires together to simulate a closed circuit or will that just short or create other problems.
It was a simple magnetic sensor.
