OK, so I'm looking for some brushed chrome (or steel) sockets and associated fittings. I'm after black inserts with decorative metal-effect switches.

The last few sockets I've fitted around the house have been an assortment of brands (MK- Decent, didn't like the small switch, Screwfix Cheap- Wouldn't buy another, don't like the feel much, Toolstation Cheap- Again, don't like the feel overmuch, but claims to have a 15 year guarantee), and so I'd be interested in reccomendations, as none of these have been what I'd call perfect.
I've seen some G&H Brassware ones that *look* right, but is the socket mechanism behind them any good? Don't want sockets that look good, but with a crappy mechanism :S

I'm willing to spend a reasonable amount of money on these, as they need to be right.

Thoughts?
