I have two BT lines which come into the house, but I only use one of them at the moment. I am thinking of using the 2nd one soon as well, but a week a go BT came & replaced the pole outside (as someone had gone into it with their car), & cut off the drop wire for the 2nd line, from the pole to the outside of the house.
So when I want to start using the 2nd line BT will have to redo the drop wire from the pole to the house. Would they charge me for redoing the wire, as they cut the old wire in the first place (They did not ask me if I still wanted the 2nd line or not), or would they do it for free.
The master socket for the 2nd line is still in the house.
The 2nd line is still connected at BT's end (As there was still a dial tone, all the line needed was a number)
