Buffoon's supporters explain why they support him

Its a clever montage portraying high profile politicians as devious and disingenuous. Not much new there then. All the same, pretty astounding considering how raw the whole suspension of Parliament thing is at present.

But quitters seem to love it...

They are of course generally too dumb to understand the consequences of our unwritten 'constitution'...

It is based on rules, conventions and precedents...

Hansard has itself said that whilst a prorogue of parliament is 'legal', the length of this prorogue is an abuse of power...

But that it in itself then sets a precedent...

Which begs the question - how long could parliament be 'suspended' by this or any other tin pot dictator in the future?

So much for 'taking back control'!

Indeed. It will likely come back to haunt the Tories for a long time.

Indeed...

John Major used the same tactic to try and avoid the 'cash for questions' debate...

The nasty party lost the election less than 2 months later!

Come on boys, nobody likes a bad loser.
'Tis true. It's looking like sour grapes - and it is. However, there will be much unease (even from Brexers) at using such a method of leverage at a crucial time in UK history.

Looking at polling numbers, suspending Parliament will be an election winner.

Brexiteers will ask for evidence of your claims but only offer belief for theirs.

Weimar Republic says Hi.

If Tories achieve proroguing parliament followed by no deal.......they will have to double down on the lies for ever more.
All they would have left is blaming the EU

A no deal would mean government spending years dealing with the fallout.
Johnson may be good at political strategy, he would be hopeless in the face of a crisis the size of no deal.

By the way - the UK and EU do have plans in place for spreading out the chaos, but it will come in this fixed term (in theory -a GE will be announced very soon, poss next week).

Churchill was brilliant at winning but horrible at running the country.

Bojo will win a GE now on taking us out of the EU and then destroy public finances bailing out the economy.

In 5 yrs people will get used to the new "****ty normal".
