Indeed. It will likely come back to haunt the Tories for a long time. But that it in itself then sets a precedent...
Which begs the question - how long could parliament be 'suspended' by this or any other tin pot dictator in the future?
Indeed...Indeed. It will likely come back to haunt the Tories for a long time.
We all lost...Come on boys, nobody likes a bad loser.
There will be other repercussions also and the Tories will look back and wish they hadn't used the tactic on such an important issue as the future of the UK.John Major used the same tactic
'Tis true. It's looking like sour grapes - and it is. However, there will be much unease (even from Brexers) at using such a method of leverage at a crucial time in UK history.Come on boys, nobody likes a bad loser.
If Tories achieve proroguing parliament followed by no deal.......they will have to double down on the lies for ever more.
All they would have left is blaming the EU
A no deal would mean government spending years dealing with the fallout.
Johnson may be good at political strategy, he would be hopeless in the face of a crisis the size of no deal.
By the way - the UK and EU do have plans in place for spreading out the chaos, but it will come in this fixed term (in theory -a GE will be announced very soon, poss next week).
