Hi all,
I am about to build a small porch on to the back of my house, 2m x1.3. I intent to build a brick plinth, about 4 -5 bricks high, then black weather board. The plinth will only be one brick wide, to maximize the interinal space. Please where do I place the DPM, under floor leavel or under the stud wall? If it is put under floor level won't this make the wall unstable as there might only be 3-4 bricks above?

Any ideas
James

d.p.m. is generally installed under the concrete slab and is then turned up into the d.p.c. which is at floor level
