Building a Wall Cabinet

Hi Guys, I have the electric meter and fuse board in the hall way and wish to box it in with a wall cabinet with a hinged door, however I'm not a carpenter and want to know the best way to construct it.

I have read about metal cam dowels to hide the screws but unsure how to use them , what's the bet jointing method or might it be easier to buy a carcass from screwfix etc

well you can either have a hunt round the local 2nd shops for a pine type unit that might fit,all your have t do it remove the back(hopefully?).but why not construct a new cupboard by screwing the cabinet together?

Whereabouts will this cupboard be going? Floor level?
