Building Controls - Have I contravened them?

I had a look at our area's Regularisation' form and they aren't interested in pre 2005 wiring (not that I have any) and it would seem that the only thing I am lacking is a fan (which the old smaller kitchen never had either) so, rightly or wrongly - I am going to sit on the problem for the next five years or so and worry about it then.... but thanks for the info thus far, at least I know where I stand.
