Can I fit a uPVC front door to an integral garage leading into my kitchen or would it not be a allowed under fire regulations?
I don't use the garage for my car as I use it as a utility room - fitted units/washing machine/tumble dryer, however it still has the up and over garage door.
Thanks.

The door and frame would need to be 1/2 hour fire rated, and I doubt that a plastic doorset would be

Building control are unlikely to ever know, but if the worst should happen and you had a fire which spread through the door, then your insurance would not pay out if you did not tell them about there not being a fire door where there should be one
