Building regs and doors

Hi

Is there anyone on here that can tell me if building regs involvement is required to replace the French doors on my summerhouse/outbuilding? They are timber currently and nearing the end of their life and I wish to replace with upvc double glazing matched to the same colour as the doors are currently.

Building is the usual timber framed type

Any help would be awesome, I have emailed regs for assistance but they can take a while to respond

Why not phone. We have.
Local planning might be different to national and always found them helpful

For an outbuilding, I wouldn't ask. Different story if it's a habitable annexe, of course.
