Hi,

I need to insulate the internal walls of a large outbuilding.

About 40 square metres.

What would be the least expensive way?.

Thank you.

What is this large building built of?

would think Glass fibre will be the cheapest method And easiest to apply or polystyrene (fire hazard?) Kingspan will be the dearest.

If your out building is 30sq m then I don’t think you need any regs. (But i will stand to be corrected by more knowledge types)

As above, glass fibre would be cheapest, but you stand to loose a significant amount of floor space, as it would need to be 100mm-200mm deep thereabouts to hit the regs.

If you can loose that much floor space, you are unlikely to find a cheaper way

Cheapest would be a roll of 3mm polystyrene lining.

Is that what you meant?
