Born in Rusholme, before you. LIved there, or not far away, all my days. I challenge you to walk through Rusholme now, day or night, and find a white person. I'm sure there are some, but you'd have to look hard. The place now does not look English, it is more like a tacky Middle Eastern bazaar, and it is only a matter of time before it comes to your doorstep. Hope you like curry with bones in it.

As for the ridiculous statement at the end, have you never had an English chicken casserole with bone-in meat in it before?

The reason you cook meat with the bone in is because it imparts more flavour. I know that, as I did a BTEC course on Food Technology, coincidentally down the road from Rusholme at Hollings College in Fallowfield.

You strike me as terribly xenophobic. Don't you eat any foreign food at all?

Italian, French, Polish, Indian, Thai, Japanese, Lebanese, West Indian?

BTW though, I haven't eaten meat since 1991.
