I need a stand-alone cabinet with pocket sliding doors.
Can someone suggest to me where can I get it?

Can you elaborate a bit, size, what will be the purpose? Or got a photo of what you have in mind?

This is a DIY forum - have you thought about making your own? Or maybe asking in MumsNet?

I doubt you will get off the shelf cabinets like that

HAWA and Accuride make the gear -look on hafele site

but Im not sure it works all that well on full height wardrobe type doors

you could be looking at £1500 for the gear

Can’t see the purpose of sliding them into pockets, does not increase access just the time taken to open and close .?

It's pretty obvious isn't it? You can leave the cabinet open and not have the doors in the way. It doesn't increase access or the time.

You can achieve the same result, cheaper, with a tambour door or doors - both horizontal and vertical

they are often used for built in TVs in a media wall -Ive always found them a bit annoying to set up as they are basically hinges built onto pullout larder gear
