I understand where you are coming from with regard to fuse size, but to clarify my point, the characteristic of the load would make overload unlikely, so would still be compliant.
Furthermore, although I cited Ref method A from 4D5A, the definition of "in an insulated wall" is incorrect for this scenario. I would therefore look at 4D2A which gives us a maximum current for Ref. Method A of 43A, which is lower than the 44A of 4D5A, but more importantly has a Ref Method B allowing 52A for 10mm².
