Just checked up how many weeks we have been away in the campervan this year, and it totals 11 weeks, still got loadsa time to get away, my mate next door now calls me pykie.
I've had times in a camper van although I'm more under canvas nowadays. I've also had holidays in hotels but nothing beats the early morning in a field with a mug of tea in your hand watching the other tents appearing out of the mist,![]()
yer a man of me own heartTake your campervan to Switzerland, much better than touring blighty.
Me and the missus did it in a converted landrover on our way south a couple of times now.
Drive to Geneva , swing a left through the Alps over to Italy, down through the dolomites and on to Venice.
Loads to see and do on the way and Venice is nice to stay for a few days to re-charge the old batteries.
We will be doing it again this winter on our way to Greece but staying in hotels instead of camping.
