Can I chg the demand setting on my boiler?

I have a Vaillant boiler, (no other model markings I can see) which works on demand during the day.

Only problem to get it kick started you have to run the sink tap a full pressure, which splashes everywhere and is a waste of water.

Any idea on how to set the demand lower so it kicks in straight away?

You need a new diaphragm.

Is that expensive?

We only have to run it for maybe a min and a half until hot water comes, so not that much of a problem, just a mild inconvenience

Diaphragm punctured, or pipes blocked, or pump worn or switch needs adjusting. Open bottom door, bend knees and look up. Model tag under the combustion chamber.
