Can I connect extractor fan to electric shower?

Hello everyone.
I have a bathroom with electric shower.
I would like to install a extractor fan over shower cubicle (low voltage one).

I wonder if it's OK to connect extractor to electric shower (so when I pull on shower cord - fan will kick in). Anything that regulations says about it?

If that's permited - do I need an extra isolation switch?

Plan B: Trigger it with a flowswitch in the water supply to the shower.


Don't forget that whatever you do it'll be notifiable if you live in England or Wales.
