I am planning to fit new flooring throughout our flat and would love to use solid wood, however one area has underfloor heating.

I understand that engineered wood is suitable but really like solid bamboo and have read conflicting commentaries on whether or not it is suitable to fit over UFH.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

In short yes.

But it's an engineered product, so board suitability may vary depending on the manufacturer, if in doubt check with them (most of them are fine).

I agree with AronSearle, there a couple of different types of Bamboo. Always check with the manafactuer, best to have that peace of mind and ask for something in writing
