Can I replace honeywell boiler timer?

Hi,

I just wanted to ask if it possible to update this Honeywell timer that is next to my Valliant bolier to something newer at all and what would be a good replacement please?

Also is it a complicated job for an electrician or a straight forward swap? Tia

Yes it can be replaced, no not a straight swap, but not complicated either. Doesn’t have to be an electrician, can be gas engineer/heating engineer competent in wiring. Plenty of makes available, all depends on what you want/can afford.
