Can I swap external door handle with cylinder lock for knob

Hi

Our front door has a multi lock (3) system but not the type where you lift the handle to engage.
It has a door handle with brass face plate that accommodates what I think is a cylinder lock. Key can be used inside or out to retract the latch (instead of using the handle) and lock.

If key is not turned the door can be opened from outside.

I would like to replace the door handle (looks like internal brass handle) with more traditional door furniture - ideally a knob but I cannot see any way to accommodate the cylinder that protrudes from the door face.

I am struggling to describe what I have hence cannot find options online. Can anyone help ?

I think the OP means euro cylinder fitted to lock...pinenot
