We have downlights in our shower rooms which have to be replaced by IP65's. They are all integral "cylindrical" units which are sprung up into the ceiling. Getting them out is impossible (I read with great detail exactly this question from May 2013 and tried the same process and it is not possible because of the tight fit of the housings.)
The bulbs can be replaced simply by turning inner frame holding the bulb 90degrees, after which the bulb and inner frame simply falls out of the housing collar and is held only by the wires.
Is there any fitting that can be installed so that I can keep the housings in place but replace the middle bit (inner frame) to be P65 rated?
