My wife 'filed' the manual and I can not find it.
Looks like we ran out of oil and I need to re start it.
Are there any manuals on line or anyone with the patience to walk me through what I need to do?

Thanks,
jhk

Do you have the RDB 12 6 OR THE RDB 238

GRUM

Take off the red cover. Coming out of the oil pump is a brass tube with a plug in the end. Find something to catch the oil and try removing the plug to see if oil comes out. If it does wait until the bubbles stop, Better stlii collect about a litre of oil, then refit the plug.

Just thought to let you know I had similar trouble with my riello.
Nothing seemed the matter until I examined the coupling between pump and motor and found it worn to the extent that it was causing too much resistance to the motor for it to start. A new coupling solved the problem and the pump, and burner has worked ever since. Approx 9 years use caused the wear
