Yes but any Gas Enginner can work on Plumbing

who you trying to kid, some can't even install waste pipework that works.

But they can still install it be it good or bad, NVQ plumbers CANNOT work on gas

nor can nvq gas fitters

You know what i mean mate.
ANYONE can fit install or replace plumbing parts but gas is a whole different matter.

Where talking about being qualified here arn't we! so is a 6012 gas engineer qualified to do lead, above an below ground drainage, bathrooms etc.

I can do plenty of things in this world that i'm not qualified to do

a fully qualified plumber with acs is more qualified than a gas service engineer thats a fact kid

What's in a name I say , vision technician = window cleaner , hygene consultant = cleaner , its alway's been Plumbing & Heating , heating in most case's = gas boilers , make's me laugh the word Chef , what is that , a cook , a cook that is in charge of other cook's , but it just don't have the ring to it , in germany I beleive a building site foreman is refered to as a chef , the bloke in charge , I sat my acs with a combustion technician !

Any way nogoodatfaultfinding why have you not got yopurself in the comb chamber ??? someone has posted a fault there that they know the answer to , waiting to see who gets it right , on 3rd page , & running !!! I've had 4 stabs .

Infact yes he is as ANYONE can LEGALLY change a soil stack in their house, add lead flashings if they wish, god if their good enough they might even tie it in and treat it.
Anyone can fit their own bathroom LEGALLY but they cannot install a boiler, fire, cooker, multi, Warm Air etc etc.

Totally agree mate im just your average every day gas man, however i do get slightly insulted when the customer shouts "The plumbers here"

I would'nt get annoyed at that , as long as they pay you , thay can call u what they like (within reason) any way how come I don;t see u in the comb chamber ??? a fault has been posted by someone who knows the answer , 3 pages so far & running had 4 stabs at it , someone else you we know apparently knows the fault but is not going to say !!!

read the post again your missing the point. "NOT QUALIFIED" NOT CAN OR CARN'T DO!! I can cook doesn't make me a qualified chef who can apply to work in a posh restraunt. if you wanted to f**k off to the usa to live an you put on your form i can fit lead, above & below ground drainage

thats my point a customer says "here is the plumber" you gas service engineers should be made up.

If the plumber is trained in Scotland he will have S/NVQ 3 which includes the basic 5 ACS
