Can the airlines survive?

We have huge numbers of planes from when I was a kid, and air travel is common to just about everyone, but can they survive with the numbers that they currently have?

Ryanair are expecting to lose getting on for £50 million this year.

BA's profits are down by 88%.

Easy Jet will be down by about 45%

They can't all survive can they?

BA is trying to merge with iberia to try to strengthen its position i believe, how iberia are going to help them beats me.

the ryanair bloke reckons they will survive ok and loads of others will not, i think he mentioned the likes of wizz air so he probably thinks the smaller european carriers will be gone soon, i would class ryanair as a smaller carrier though and i'm not sure what he's offering that others aren't.

I am more bothered about estate agents as I shall be looking for some Energy Certificates work soon and need them to be thriving.
