Wiring up a 3 phase power supply for a 400V Tig Welder from a 240v single phase?

I am envisaging having to use a convertor of some description if this is the possible.

Only reason is that there seem to be a lot of nicely priced second hand 3 Phase TIG welders around at the moment and I want to widen my options.

It may be that doing this would completely eliminate the saving of going 3 Phase rather than buying a single phase equivalent, but I had to ask :D

I wouldn't say impossible, it is probably cheaper to buy a brand new single phase welder though
