Well, mop roll isn't waterproof, if you get a lot debris building up, I can see it weeping.

Thanks , yeah that's literally the video I watched before buying the tools , however the problem is that at 1:07 on the video he knocks the hook into the gap between the underlying tiles , but between the gap on my tiles there's another layer of tiles underneath so I can't knock the hook in because it will crack the tile , my roof seems to have 3 layers of tiles , is this normal ? strangely getting the old tile off wasn't the issue I thought it would be , however I'm stumped as to how I'm going to reattach the new tiles ,

What about drilling a 2mm hole to accomodate the hook, it is only taking a very small amount of weight?

I thought about that , however can't see where the batons are because the tiles are really long and the nails are at the top hidden by overlapping tiles , tiles are about twice as long as the ones in the video , really appreciate the advice. Thanks

I was thinking that you may not need to find the baton as the pin through the whole tile should take the strain. It is only 40 degrees and it's being held in by a lot of friction, the hook is only to stop it sliding out
